No, the Cardinals didn’t change their name. Although how cool would it be if they…never mind.
It appears the San Francisco Giants are on another road trip from hell. Or for them in 2013, just another road trip, period. This wasn’t a good night for the Giants, for Madison Bumgarner or for snotrockets. Sigh.
Here are Madison Bumgarner’s snotrocket totals and other vital statistics for Saturday, June 1, 2013 on the road vs. the St. Louis Cardinals:
- L, 6.0 IP, 6 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 1 BB, 6 K, 7 SNR (snotrockets): 1 vs. lefties, 5 vs. righties, 1 other.
- Madison Bumgarner’s most prolific inning was the 5th in which he blew 3 snotrockets.
I’m not sure when Bumgarner’s next start is. They have two off days coming up next week plus their starting rotation is a little off due to SP Ryan Vogelsong’s injury. It’s going to be either next Friday or Saturday, on the road vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks. Neither game will be on the Fox network which is fantastic news. Fox cameras focus more on the batters than the pitcher so I’m sure it affected my snotrocket totals, as I mentioned on Twitter:
So for his next outing I’m predicting double digit snotrocket totals from Bumgarner. Go get ’em, Madison Bumgarner. Let your snotrocket flag fly.
See you here or on Twitter for all the exciting snotrocket action.
