2014 NLDS Snotrockets


We won’t talk about the bad inning, the one where Madison Bumgarner made an oops. Let’s just pretend that it never happened. Let’s only remember the good parts, like the innings well pitched and of course the snotrockets.

Here are Madison Bumgarner’s snotrocket totals and other vital statistics for Monday, October 6, 2014 at home vs. the Washington Nationals:


  • L, 7.0 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 6 K, 9 SNR (snotrockets): 5 vs. lefties, 1 vs. righties, 3 other. 2 at-bat SNR.
  • Madison Bumgarner’s most prolific innings were the 1st and 2nd in which he blew 3 snotrockets per inning.
  • Bumgarner now with 18 snotrockets in the 2014 postseason.


The incomparable snotrocket screencapper @SanDiegoGiants  had no bad innings and came up with some great postseason snotrocket shots from yesterday’s game. Even though the game was on a Fox Sports channel and Fox is notorious for focusing on anything that isn’t Giants-related he still captured some great snotrockets. Here’s one from the 1st inning:

Update: Madison Bumgarner’s next start will be this Saturday, October 11, 2014 on the road vs. the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 1 of the NLCS. That’s right, the Giants beat the Washington Nationals last night. That’s right, more postseason snotrockets! YAY! HOORAY! HUZZAH! ALL THAT GOOD STUFF!
