Insufficient Snotrockets

I don’t like it when Madison Bumgarner blows too few snotrockets. I also don’t like it when Madison Bumgarner gives up too many home runs. Both happened tonight but fortunately the Giants bats woke up and they scored just enough runs to nullify those DBacks homers. Giants bats could do nothing about the lack of snotrockets though.

The San Francisco Giants were in Arizona tonight to play the DBacks with Madison Bumgarner the starting pitcher for the Giants. Snotrocket conditions at the start of the game:

A milestone moment on the line tonight:

You’ll get that 100th victory next time, Madison. And blow some celebratory snotrockets to boot.

Here are Madison Bumgarner’s snotrocket totals and other vital statistics for Friday, September 9, 2016 on the road vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks:

  • ND, 6.0 IP, 6 H, 1 BB, 4 R, 4 ER, 9 K, 2 HR, 2 SNR: 0 vs. L, 1 vs. R, 1 other.
  • Madison Bumgarner’s most prolific inning was the 1st in which he blew 2 snotrockets.
  • Bumgarner now with 211 snotrockets in the 2016 season.

Unfortunately @SanDiegoGiants was on assignment for the only inning that Bumgarner blew his snotrockets but he did capture some marvelous loogies. In the 6th inning there were 2 Bumgarner loogies and both were captured.
