Taco Snotrockets

The Madison Bumgarner Vintage Snotrocket Tour continues with Bumgarner’s second start of 2010. The San Francisco Giants lefty (pitching only) faced the Colorado Rockies that Thursday night in June and threw a pretty good game but sustained his second loss of the season. He also expressed many snotrockets in the high altitude night. Thin air = more snotrockets? Something for science to ponder.

Here are Madison Bumgarner’s snotrocket totals and other vital statistics for Thursday, July 1, 2010 on the road vs. the Colorado Rockies:

  • L, 7.0 IP, 9 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 5 K, 16 SNR (snotrockets): 5 vs. lefties, 2 vs. righties, 9 other. 2 at-bat SNR.
  • Madison Bumgarner’s most prolific inning was the 7th in which he blew 5 snotrockets.
  • Madison Bumgarner now with 27 snotrockets in the 2010 season.

Some of the snotrocket screencaps I made from this game turned out pretty good. Others are fuzzy. All are worthy of our attention because they contain Madison Bumgarner’s mucus. First up is an up close and clear snotrocket from the 1st inning:

Same inning, different snotrocket:

Shadowy snotrocket in the 2nd inning:

Madison Bumgarner literally snotrocketing on the Rockies:

This snotrocket from the 4th inning is a new favorite because I like how Bumgarner’s nose looks:

Did you see what I mean? No? Here let me help you:

It’s hard to tell in this screencap because it’s so very fuzzy but the multitasking Mr. Bumgarner blew a snotrocket on his way to back up home plate:

Modest snotrocket from the 5th inning:

Three different long distance snotrockets from the 7th inning with the first one an at-bat snotrocket:

Also from the 7th inning:

And one final snotrocket to close it out:

Madison Bumgarner’s next start after this one in Denver was on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 on the road vs. the Milwaukee Brewers. When I watch that game I’ll probably live tweet it as well so see you on Twitter or here for all the exciting vintage Bumgarner snotrocket action.
