Redlegged Snotrockets

The snotrocket blogging marathon continues with post #2 of the day. Here are Madison Bumgarner’s snotrocket totals and other vital statistics for Saturday, August 18, 2018 on the road vs. the Cincinnati Reds:

  • L, 6.0 IP, 8 H, 6 R, 5 ER, 2 BB, 6 K, 2 HR, 2 SNR (snotrockets): 0 vs. lefties, 1 vs. righties, 1 other.
  • Madison Bumgarner’s most prolific innings were the 4th and 5th in which he blew 1 snotrocket per inning.
  • Madison Bumgarner now with 50 snotrockets in the 2018 season.

As you can see by the above game totals Bumgarner didn’t exactly have his best game, pitching or snotrocketing. But that’s okay because even though the San Francisco Giants lost we still got a few snotrockets and as we always say around here at Bumgarner Snotrockets a little mucus is better than none.

First up is a snotrocket screencap that I got from the 4th inning:

While Bumgarner’s trusty snotrocket screencapper @SanDiegoGiants came through with a screencap of the game’s only other snotrocket, this time in the 5th inning:

@SanDiegoGiants also captured this great moment of Bumgarner’s frustration with a call from the home plate umpire:

Madison Bumgarner’s next start after this one was today, August 23, 2018 on the road vs. the New York Mets. I’ll not divulge today’s snotrocket totals here but I will tell you that Bumgarner actually blew more than 2 snotrockets. Huzzah! See you back here a little while later with today’s snotrocket totals. Also don’t forget to follow me on Twitter for all the exciting live Bumgarner snotrocket action.
