Yet another game where Madison Bumgarner didn’t blow a single snotrocket but at least this time he had an excuse. Bumgarner was taken out of the game after only going 2 innings because he was hit on his left arm by a comebacker (don’t worry, he’s fine). So it was a very short outing for Mr. Bumgarner. The lack of mucus is understood.
Here are Madison Bumgarner’s snotrocket totals and other vital statistics for Saturday, July 6, 2019 at home vs. the St. Louis Cardinals:
- ND, 2 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 2 K, 0 SNR (snotrockets).
- Madison Bumgarner’s most prolific inning was none of them since there were no snotrockets.
- Bumgarner still with 70 snotrockets in the 2019 season.
With so few snotrockets being blown by Bumgarner these days I often have to find other things to tally:
I caught a few moments too, like right after Bumgarner got hit on the arm:
And then in the dugout afterwards:
Madison Bumgarner’s next start after this one was on Saturday July 13, 2019 on the road vs. the Milwaukee Brewers. See you back here for the snotrocket recap (snotcap?) on that one soon. In the meantime you can always catch me on Twitter where I usually live tweet most Giants games. Snot you later.
